Case Study - The United Way of Greater Los Angeles

What we worked on: Rebranding, Campaign Creation, Website Creation, Social Media Branding & Management, Fundraising & Donor Engagement, Email Creation, and Video Production

Main Challenges: Engagement of a giant multicultural city.

Portnoy Media was engaged by The United Way of Greater Los Angeles (UWGLA) to help get them out of a rut with marketing and communications. Over 18 months, we revitalized their brand and all digital and print offerings, including social media and video. We established a listening post to hear what people were saying about their organization so we could engage online and build additional content to share their stories.

We also worked together to launch Home for Good, a new homelessness initiative, and their annual walk for homelessness called Homewalk.

Portnoy Media also created the annual campaign "Workplace Heroes," which resulted in over $150 Million in donations over 24 months. The campaign's success was due to Portnoy Media's drive to engage the general public with the true DNA of The United Way of Greater Los Angeles organization.

We also completed specific initiative websites that allowed for capturing data and information from the Los Angeles area about specific issues like education and homelessness.

Solutions: Custom campaign creation and storytelling across all digital domains for BIG wins!

Our work in creating the campaign was a huge success and brought in $150 Million Dollars over 24 months!
